ProcessRole - Business Analyst

ProcessRole Detail

Business Analyst

Description

The business analyst’s main goal is to advocate for the product management constituency in the MSF Team Model. This is achieved by working with sponsors, subject matter experts, product managers, and user experience architects to analyze and define the business opportunity and the product outlined in the vision statement for the project. The business analyst will work on defining personas, writing scenarios, and acting as a proxy for the users and customers by interfacing directly with developers, testers, and other roles active in the later project life cycle.

A person assigned to this role should be added to the Contributor permissions group. This allows them to do all that they need to perform their function; such as create and modify the documents, work items, and work products.
