Code builds exiting system test.

User Acceptance Test Criteria:
The criteria for evaluating a build coming out of system test for suitability for acceptance testing.

System Test Results:
The system test results for each build to be evaluated.

A build for user acceptance testing.

Steps

  1. Evaluate System Test Results:

    Code is being built everyday. Each build is a potential release candidate. However, most builds will not be in a suitable state for user acceptance testing.

    As close to the last acceptable date prior to when user acceptance testing starts, evaluate one or more recent builds against the acceptance criteria.
  2. Select User Acceptance Test Candidate:

    Promote the best candidate build for user acceptance testing.
