Activity Information Review Product Vision
DescriptionThe product vision must be reviewed before any work that depends on the product vision begins. The product manager schedules a review meeting with the sponsor and user experience architect. First the product vision statement is validated against the organizational vision statement to be sure they are aligned. Once the product vision statement is valid, the personas are reviewed to be sure they are valid for the identified market segments. StepsReview Product Vision Statement:
Compare the product vision statement with the organizational vision statement.
If there are any discrepancies discovered between the product vision statement and the organizational vision statement, fix the product vision statement so that it is aligned with the organizational vision statement. Review Personas:
Once the product vision statement is valid, review each persona.
Check that each persona is still valid for any changes that were made while reviewing the product vision statement.
Check that each persona adequately represents its associated market segment.
If changes are necessary, update each persona to align with the product vision statement or market segments.
