Analyze Mitigation Action:

Analyze the mitigation action for the risk and break it up into tasks that can be assigned to individuals on the team. Link the tasks back to the risk for traceability.
Estimate Tasks:

From existing data or from consultation with the team, make an estimate in hours or days for the task.
Assign Tasks:

Assign the tasks for the mitigation action to appropriate team members.
Identify dependencies:

Identify any dependent tasks or project work items that depend on completing this risk mitigation action or on which this task is dependent.
Schedule Tasks:

Schedule the mitigation tasks.
