Steps

  1. Solicit Commitment:

Ask each team member to commit to the iteration plan and the promise of the whole team to deliver the agreed upon requirements. They are making an individual commitment as part of a team of peers. Each team member is jointly responsible for the success of the iteration and delivering on the commitment.

It is not always possible to get commitments in a group setting. It may be necessary to schedule time with individuals or to solicit their commitment by e-mail.
  2. Publish Commitment:

Publish the team commitments on the project portal.

Place the names of all the committed team members against the approved iteration plan.
