Schedule the meeting to launch the iteration. Make an attempt to get the full team together for the launch to build team unity and reinforce the start of the iteration for all individual team members. This will also facilitate getting team commitments to the plan. Hold Iteration Launch Meeting:
Hold the meeting for the project launch. Make this an event to create excitement and momentum to start the project. Make an effort to tell what role each person will play in the project.
Go through the plan and discuss all the salient points. Review the team charter, specifying the team's level of empowerment and independence. Inform the team about the communication plan. Emphasize that the iteration plan has been reviewed and approved by senior management.
Make sure to record who was in attendance for this meeting. Follow Up After Iteration Launch (Optional):
Follow up with any individual team members who did not attend the iteration launch meeting to make sure they receive the same information.
