Description

Throughout the development of the database, developers will constantly and iteratively be building and deploying the database project to their sandbox server. It is thus important to configure the default build and deploy options most appropriate for your environment during the initial project creation.

Steps

  1. Specify the Target Server That Will Serve as the Sandbox Server:

    This target server will be the local database server that you will iteratively deploy database changes to for testing.
  2. Configure Deployment Options:

    Decide whether you want to automatically re-create the database each time you deploy or whether you want to incrementally deploy the database.

    Decide whether you want to back up the database on each deployment.
