Analyze User Acceptance Test Results

Description

Evaluate user acceptance test results against a set of acceptance criteria. This should include the critical to quality (CTQ) factors defined during the envision track at the beginning of the project life cycle. CTQs are sometimes called "overall goodness factors" (or OGFs).

The release candidate was unacceptable and a new candidate should be selected and retested.

Steps

  1. Evaluate User Acceptance Test Results:

    Evaluate the user acceptance test results against the release acceptance criteria.

    Include the CTQ factors defined at the beginning of the life cycle.
  2. Summarize Results:

    Summarize the results with a recommendation for promotion to release or reject and request a new candidate.
  3. Promote for Release (Optional):

    Promote the acceptable release candidate for release.
