The database developer’s main goal is to implement all database development tasks within the planned time frame. The database developer is also responsible for cost estimation, supervision of feature implementation, and providing database expertise to the other developers on the team. The database developer participates in the iterative database development life cycle, along with the database administrator and the application development team members.
