The iteration plan is the central work product for tactical planning. An on-going activity is the planning of iterations. Each iteration is kicked off with an iteration planning meeting where the final iteration plan is shared with the entire team. There should be no surprises at this meeting as team members have been involved in creating and choosing their tasks. After the iteration planning meeting is completed, work begins on planning the next iteration.
