Activity Information Triage Bugs
DescriptionTriage is the process used to review newly reported or reopened bugs and assign a priority and iteration to them. Triage is driven by the project manager with input from the other members of the development team. StepsGenerate Bug List: Query the bug tracking system for newly reported and reopened bugs. Review Bugs: Review each bug found and, with input from development, testing, and product management, determine the importance of fixing each one to the goals of the project and the current iteration. Assign Priority to Fix and Iteration: Assign a priority to fix and iteration to each bug to allow the development team to schedule and address the bug in a timely fashion. Reproduce Dubious Bugs (Optional): If a bug report is unclear or the true impact of the bug is uncertain, the program management team should attempt to reproduce the bug so that they have a good understanding of its real impact and reproducibility.
