Reassign a Bug

Fix a BugReassign a Bug

Description

Bugs need to be reassigned due to insufficient information, lack of knowledge by the developer in the area defined in the defect description, or because of workload leveling. When a bug is reassigned, add descriptions as to why this bug is being reassigned.

  1. Modify Defect Description:
    Enter the reason for the reassignment in the conversation field on the bug tracking form.

    Provide information to help the next developer examine the bug.

  2. Update Owner:
    Update the owner information with the appropriate developer.
