DescriptionLifestyle snapshots are an optional step used in conjunction with personas. Lifestyle snapshots help flesh out the situational specifics for writing scenarios. A lifestyle snapshot is a description of a day or short period of time in the life of a persona. The description is concrete and omits the use of the proposed new technology. The day in the life of the persona helps demonstrate how the new system or product adds value for the persona. Contextual understanding from a lifestyle snapshot helps assess the value each scenario adds and provides input for scenario prioritization. StepsCreate Prototypical Persona Day:
For each persona, identify and describe one or more prototypical periods of time in the life of the persona. Identify Technology Opportunities:
For each day in the life, identify opportunities where the product could be used to add value to help the persona better realize their potential and goals.
Add a scenario entry to the scenario list for each new scenario.
Look for quality of service requirements and add an entry to the quality of service requirements list.
